Since my family is mainly filled up with a bunch of nurses they are always out working. Even my extended family is filled with nurses so they must stay working in the hospital, unlike other jobs where they are told to do work at home. For my own family, my mother works at night so I get to see her on a regular basis and my dad stays home with us. Our lives have not changed that much since we have to stay home, the only thing we are not really allowed to do right now is hang out with other people to be cautious. For my extended family, I know my aunt and uncle work with sick people so every night they do daily decontamination just so they can be safe and keep everyone in their home healthy.
Wow, your family is really on the front lines of helping people during this time. And it has certainly affected your aunt and uncle who have to make sure they literally don’t bring their work home with them. Has your dad’s military experience had any bearing on your home life to follow government orders?
